Nokota Horse Conservancy Faces Bankruptcy

The nonprofit Nokota Horse Conservancy, in operation since 1999 with the mission of protecting and managing some of the few remaining Nokota horses, is struggling to keep it’s footing since the recession of 2008 wiped out most of their support.  They have reached out to the public for support, with little success.  Without significant support, their organization, and the remaining approximately 100 Nokota horses in their care, may be no more.
