High Winds Kill Horse

Eucalyptus Tree

At the very popular Sonoma Horse Park near San Francisco, California, high winds combined with the recent heavy rain has toppled several trees, one of which fatally struck a horse.  The horse was in an outdoor pen next to the barn when the falling eucalyptus tree killed it.  Several other trees also fell at the Equestrian Park, but no other injuries were reported.  There is no confirmed information on the identity of the horse that was killed by the falling tree.  The Equestrian Center also suffered damage to their barns and corrals from falling trees.
