A 91 year old woman, Julie Suhr, rode in the Rose Parade. Suhr is a legend in long distance riding, completing the Tevis Cup an astonishing 22 times, last completing it at age 76. She made another attempt 4 years later at age 80, and came within 2 miles of completing the strenuous 100 mile ride. Suhr has logged over 30,000 miles of competitive long distance riding. She certainly isn’t letting age keep her from enjoying her life’s passion: riding.
