Black Friesian Saved From Drowning

A black Friesian was saved from drowning Thursday morning by the heroic efforts of rescue personal.  The beautiful horse found himself in an ugly situation as flood waters rose around him and he could find no way out of the raging river.  RSPCA manager  Christina Masemola told reporters it was a joint effort between rescue personal and volunteers.  “We have no idea how they landed there. But the horse is fine now though he appeared to be a bit traumatised,” she said.

The Friesian is homed with 4 other horses, and they were all moved to higher ground after the rescue.
