San Francisco, CA – A driver, described as 5′ 7″, shaved head with tattoos on each arm, hopped in a car and fled the scene after rear-ending a horse trailer with his Toyota Tundra. The impact severely injured 18-year-old Chance, and may have fractured his neck. Chance is unable to flex his neck either direction, is droopy on 1 side, and is holding his ears pinned back. “We were just sitting in the truck and all of a sudden we felt this impact. We didn’t know what hit us, but it was hard,” driver Sharlie Folsom told reporters. When CHP arrived on the scene, the driver had already fled. “The witness said, ‘hey that man just got in a car and left.’ I said: ‘what?’ He was gone, never saw him again,” Folsom said.
The family hopes Chance will pull through. “I don’t think he’ll be able to work again, but we hope he would pull through,” Folsom said. The vet will be coming out again to evaluate Chance’s first 24 hours after the accident.Author: Dale Williams <-- Become my friend on Facebook! - Phone: 724-964-6773
