Livingston, Montana – Jessika Kynett, an officer with the Livingston Police Department, was airlifted to the hospital after a hiker found her unconscious on a trail. Kynett was riding her police horse on the South Fork of Deep Creek Bench when she fell off and was knocked unconscious. Kynett’s husband told reporters that she is doing well, but doesn’t remember the accident. “That’s what we’re trying to ask. She doesn’t remember what happened. We don’t know if the horse was spooked, maybe by a snake, or if it was uneven footing, or what.”
Kynett is an experienced horsewoman and is expected to be back in the saddle again, serving and protecting her local community.
