Nottoway County, Virginia – In 2016, officials raided Ravenwood Horse Farm, seizing 40 horses and 15 dogs, and arrested owner Robin Vince. She has been found guilty of 26 counts of animal cruelty, including 3 felony animal abuse charges during a 3 day trial that just concluded. The woman has not been sentenced yet.
When law enforcement raided Vince’s farm, they found 4 dead horses in shallow graves, and the remaining horse were described as emaciated to thin. “People have been complaining for a long time,” county attorney Theresa Royall said. “There were bones all over the property, horse bones. It was really tragic.”
Vince is no stranger to animal cruelty convictions, in 2014 she was convicted of animal cruelty in the same county.
Two of Vince’s adult children are also facing charges in court. Rhiannan Vitiello, Vince’s daughter, is facing 44 felony counts of animal cruelty at trial in October or November, and Edward Peterson Jr, Vince’s son, is expected to accept a plea deal.
