Nottinghamshire, England – A 19-year-old, Seline Damar, was riding her horse, Spot, down a road when a silver Nissan driven by an elderly man rammed into the back Spot at nearly 40 mph. Damar managed to stay on Spot through the collision, and was uninjured.
The driver of the car stopped and immediately began blaming Damar for causing the accident, despite her reflective gear and riding in the correct position on the road. “The driver, a man in his 70s, was doing 30-40mph – he wasn’t going slowly at all. He just got too close and this happened, he was 100 per cent in the wrong,” Damar told reporters.
An emergency vet was called, who sedated Spot and treated his injuries. He was treated at the Nottingham Trent University and is expected to fully recover.
The car suffered extensive damage in the collision. The police are investigating, but so far no arrest has been made.Author: Dale Williams <-- Become my friend on Facebook! - Phone: 724-964-6773
